My first blog post on munch and makeup was declaring my love for Nando’s. However, even though the chicken is my favourite, I also like to go veggie once in a while by ordering a Portobello mushroom and halloumi cheese wrap.
Nando’s roasted Portobello mushroom and halloumi cheese wrap is filled with lettuce, chilli jam and yoghurt mayonnaise. I have mine with medium PERi-PERi sauce which gives it a nice kick.
It’s filling enough to have it on its own for lunch, but I can never say no to chips dipped in garlic PERi-PERi sauce! With one side it costs £8.30 which to me is quite pricey to me, but it’s a great alternative to a chicken dish at Nando’s.
With Nando’s selling their PERi-PERi sauce in supermarkets, I hope they sell chilli jam soon so I can make my own delicious wraps at home!
Have you been to Nando’s and tried a veggie dish…?
